Yes, we’ve been there from the beginning and are looking forward to another fantastic event. BBQ rib competition, BEER, music, Big Green Egg demos, tons of delicious eats, and more. This Project X Event will raise money for Feed My People Food Bank. Cooper is back on the Egg and hoping to top last years 4th place finish!

Real Rock, 92.9 The X is honored to be a part of the first ever Night For The Fight on Friday, March 31st at the Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire. A musical night to support the fight against cancer featuring 10 local and national bands who’ve all been touched by cancer is some way, as we all have been. Bands will be fan-voted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with cash prizes and a opportunity to perform at Fest or a Fest related event. Project X proudly supports this event and encourages you to attend. Cooper will be emceeing the rock portion of the evening.
Tickets are on sale now for just $12.50 per person. 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and the Gilbert Brown Foundation.

The 9th Annual Festival Foods Turkey Trot– Eau Claire will take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, 2016. The Turkey Trot offers two events – a five mile run and a two mile walk – to accommodate participants of all ages and abilities.
The Turkey Trot takes place throughout the state with many locations in Western and Central Wisconsin including La Crosse, Marshfield, Janesville, Madison and Eau Claire.
Participants will enjoy music, long-sleeve t-shirts and free Festival Foods pumpkin pies at the finish line. The Turkey Trot benefits the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA in the communities Festival Foods serves!
Shirts and bibs can be picked up between 2-6pm on Wednesday, November 23 and beginning at 6:30am on Thanksgiving Day.
The Trot starts promptly at 8:00 AM but there are 2 different start lines. Be sure you are in the correct area to ensure you are on the right course. If you are a 5 Mile participant but you line up at the 2 Mile start line you will end up on the 2 mile course and will not be chip timed. Strollers and slower participants are asked to line up at the back of their respective group. Dogs will line up on the 2 mile course and will start after all other participants.

Save the date: The 3rd Annual Walk A Mile Chippewa Valley is happening Sunday, October 23 at Carson Park (Pine Pavilion) Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is an international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence. Walk A Mile-Chippewa Valley is further expanding this mission and event by encouraging people of all genders, ages, and walks of life to participate in a one-mile walk in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The walk will benefit Bolton Refuge House, The Bridge to Hope, Family Support Center, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) Women’s and LGBTQ Resource Center.

The 3rd Annual Hops 4 Hockey Beerfest is September 10, in the rink at Hobb’s Ice Arena in Eau Claire. There will be plenty of local, regional, and national offerings, as well as complimentary Brew Pub Pizza and a commemorative tasting glass. Great raffle and auction items add to the excitement as we raise money for the development of hockey in the Chippewa Valley. This is a 21 & older event, with tickets available at Dooley’s Pub, Riverside Bike & Skate, from any Center Ice Club member or through www.eventbrite.com (service charge will be added).
